TITLE:                                     Intern, Investments

CLASSIFICATION:               Temporary Internship Summer 2021

DEPARTMENT:                     Investments Division

REPORTS TO:                      Managing Director

                                               

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing assistance with industry research, market research, meetings, pro-forma, and efforts related to acquiring new business opportunities, developments, investment partners, and/or acquisitions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Conducting market research for business development, investments and acquisitions
  • Assisting with analysis of market research and market assessment
  • Attending meetings and providing feedback to team
  • Assisting with internal investment approval packages by compiling and analyzing market data-comparable data and market surveys (both primary and published sources)
  • Developing pro forma utilizing Excel and ARGUS for Investments Team

  • Candidate must be a current graduate level student with a concentration in Finance or Real Estate
  • Strong knowledge of Excel required; previous financial modeling experience preferred
  • Exceptional quantitative capabilities
  • Exceptional analytical skills with an ability to understand how the parts fit into the larger picture
  • Detail-focus required
  • Market research experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills
